Story
Cocoon — a utopia in the sky.
Its inhabitants believed their world a paradise.
Under the Sanctum's rule, Cocoon had long known peace and prosperity.
Mankind was blessed by its protectors, the benevolent fal'Cie, and believed that tranquil days would
continue forever.
Their tranquility was shattered with the discovery of one hostile fal'Cie.
The moment that fal'Cie from Pulse — the feared and detested lowerworld — awoke from its slumber,
peace on Cocoon came to an end.
Fal'Cie curse humans, turning them into magic-wielding servants.
They become l'Cie — chosen of the fal'Cie.
Those branded with the mark of a l'Cie carry the burden of either fulfilling their Focus or facing a fate
harsher than death itself.
A prayer for redemption.
A wish to protect the world.
A promise to challenge destiny.
After thirteen days of fates intertwined, the battle begins.
Key Features
- Take Part in a Gaming Experience That Sets New Standards - The first in the series developed for a simultaneous release on multiple high-definition consoles, FINAL FANTASY XIII pushes new boundaries in cinematic presentation, sound and gameplay.
- Experience the Unity of Speed and Strategy with the Ultimate Active Time Battle System - The familiar system has evolved, granting players the freedom of executing numerous commands in a single turn with the multi-slot ATB gauge. - Adapt to the Ever-Changing Tide of Battle with Paradigms - A brand-new game mechanic enabling players to assign roles to their party members at any time during battle, shifting between combat paradigms. Consisting of various combinations of the game's six roles, ranging from Commando, the offensive specialist, to Medic, the quintessential healer, paradigms allow players to respond and adapt instantly to any given situation to turn the tide and seize victory.

In Gestalt Mode, characters and their transformed Eidolons fight as one, dealing massive damage to enemies through simple button commands.

SAKURA WARS COMING MARCH 30, 2010

March 2, 2010 - NIS America announced today that Sakura Wars for both PlayStation®2 and Wii™ has been rescheduled to 3/30/2010.
For long time fans of Sakura Wars and SRPG fans, the PS2 version will include a special art book, poster, and a collector’s item outer cover. The PS2 version will also come with a double dual layered disc, each featuring the respective voiceovers of either English or Japanese. If you are looking for a killer bargain though, the Wii version will be a single dual layered disc with English voiceovers. This version does not contain the bonus items, but will be offered at an attractive price point.
About Sakura Wars
Sakura Wars is a Strategy RPG that features a unique, sim-based story system. An in-depth storyline exists, much like in any other RPG; however, the player’s destiny in the game is not predetermined. Character interaction plays a major role, and your responses to the various characters in the game can ultimately change the story content and even the final outcome.
Battle System
The battle system is divided into two main parts; ground combat and air combat. Ground combat takes place using two-legged mechanized suits, which transform into jet fighters to take the fight to the sky. Every mech unit in the game can transform from battle mech mode to jet fighter mode during combat. Once transformed, weapons and movement methods will change as well. For example, the hero’s ground mode utilizes a sword as his main weapon, but in jet mode he will use long-range missiles.

LAST REBELLION HITS RETAILERS NATIONWIDE

Feb 23, 2010–NIS America announced today that “Last Rebellion” for the PlayStation®3 Computer Entertainment System has been shipped to North American retail stores. A joint project between Nippon Ichi Software and HitMaker, Last Rebellion is an RPG with action elements. Players can roam around the world field and make action movements like in an action game, but once you enter battle you engage the enemy using a turn-based system.
Battle System During battle, different body parts can be targeted to disable the enemy. For instance, attacks to the legs will slow them down, while blows to the arms will weaken their attacks. By strategically striking key areas of the body, players can strip the enemy of their ability to fight.
Setting
There are 2 main characters in Last Rebellion, Nine (male) and Aisha (female). Nine is a Blade, whose specialty is physical attacks, and Aisha is a Sealer, who uses magic spells to attack & seal enemies. The player can switch back and forth between the two during the battle. Since Nine and Aisha share a single, the player must strategically choose which character to execute their attacks first. Because of this, Last Rebellion is no ordinary RPG with another mindless battle system. The player must be aware of which enemies they are fighting against, and use their experience and strategy throughout the game.
•Tactical battle system with interchangeable main characters
•Attractive, visual characters with lots of personality
•Gorgeous watercolor-like character art and event scenes
•A story of revenge featuring a dark anti-hero
